Not only does a client's smile look beautiful -- it looks natural. A visit to Dr. Weiss' office for cosmetic purposes includes a look at a computer imaging system which can allow clients to enhance their smile onscreen before any dental work is actually done.
A graduate of the University of Manitoba, Dr. Weiss was an assistant professor of dentistry there for two years, working at a specialty clinic handling challenging cases. He has taken courses throughout North America and is continually expanding and updating his knowledge in order to offer the best cosmetic dental care available. Dr. Weiss was the past president of The Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr.Weiss is also the official dentist of The Miss Universe CanadaTM pageant, which includes Miss Universe 2005 and Miss Canada 2006. Because of his warm and friendly manner (most of his clients know him on a first-name basis and many have recommended him to their friends), Dr. Weiss has become something of a resident expert on both local and national television programs explaining the benefits and procedures of cosmetic dentistry. He uses two main methods of correcting dental flaws: veneers and invisalign. Veneers are wafer-thin porcelain bonded onto front surface of teeth to create a cosmetic improvement of discoloured, worn chipped or misaligned teeth. Porcelain veneers are also referred to as Lumineers or Porcelain Laminates. Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten your teeth without braces. More substantial work requires whitening programs, which may be done in-home or through office visits. The results revitalize a smile and can be maintained through occasional touch-ups.
